Our story
A young club with a full record. Here is how we started and what we've done in each Rotary year since.
Rotaract Club of Cairo Zamalek is a Rotaract club in District 2451, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Cairo Zamalek. Rotaract brings together people aged 18 and over to take action in their communities, develop as leaders and build friendships around the world.
The club was admitted as a member of Rotary International on 31 May 2024, after District Governor Ayman Nazih signed its application, presented by Rotary Cairo Zamalek President Azza Nardini, earlier that month.
We meet at the Automobile & Touring Club in Cairo and work across service, professional development and fellowship. Our 2026/27 theme is Create Lasting Impact.

Application signed
District Governor Ayman Nazih signs the club's application at the Rotaract PETS, where our president-elect also trained.

Admitted to Rotary International
Rotary International certifies the Rotaract Club of Cairo-Zamalek, Egypt, as a member club. The first board is introduced and the first gathering of the Cairo Zamalek family takes place with the guidance of Rotary Club of Cairo Zamalek.

A club trip to an exotic cars and racing event on the North Coast, and our first big fellowship day.

A training day featuring the Mediterranean Country Representative for District 2451, Assistant DRR Passant El Ebshihy and Cairo Deputy Lojayne Ahmed. Funds went to the Back to School project.

A team-building workshop with The Dialogue Company. We led its marketing.

Fundraiser for ESMA
Our largest event so far, with the Empowerise Initiative under the patronage of Prince Mohamed Ali and Princess Nawal. Guests included Hussein Fahmy, Yousra and the Ambassadors of France, Italy and Belgium. Donations and an art auction raised EGP 240,000, delivered directly to the shelter.
